Binaries have been uploaded for both x86 and amd64 platforms. due to github file size limitations , the directories have been uploaded unarchived. for Win33 binaries , please checkout https://github.com/YannNayn/galera-mariadb-win32.git and for Win64(amd64) binaries (being uploaded/pushed): https://github.com/YannNayn/galera-mariadb-win64.git they are not recommended for a production environment. in the my.cnf file: _________ wsrep_provider=galera_smm.dll wsrep_sst_method=msqldump # percona xtrabackup will be tested soon _________ libevent and openssl(the provided binaries use respectively 2.1.3-alpha and 1.1.0-dev versions ) will be added next on github some limitations are stated on openssl website copied here for convenience: ____________ from http://www.openssl.org/ ____________ This software package uses strong cryptography, so even if it is created, maintained and distributed from liberal countries in Europe (where it is legal to do this), it falls under certain export/import and/or use restrictions in some other parts of the world. Aug 6 12:24:24 testserver mysqld: 150806 12:24:24 [Note] /usr/libexec/mysqld (mysqld 10.0.20-MariaDB) starting as process 115096 ... why is this now stdout instead mysql logs? on systemd based distributions that spits now to the global syslog and finally on machines restarting 2 instances every hour for backup reasons it annoys until 10.0.19 or 10.0.20 that was not this way

Hi! Visiting: https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb/branding-guidelines/ You’ll note that the Powered by MariaDB badges still exist (https://mariadb.org/about/logos/) — they should really say Powered by MariaDB Server But what is missing are all the seal logos? Currently beyond the archives at Wikimedia Commons (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Mariadb-seal-browntext.svg) they seem to have disappeared Is this just an oversight and something that needs fixing? Hello! Both master and slave run: Server version: 10.1.14-MariaDB FreeBSD Ports Replication is based on mixed format. Slave is used for backups without locking and going off line. I have a script that runs once a day and checksums all tables, so all tables are 100% in match (it wait for sync, locks and checksums). One table is very often out of sync. GitHub integration with JIRA is available, and quite easy to configure, so it would be great to have it enabled on MariaDB Server. Do you think it's possible? Hello all, I went through an idea [1] to lighten the server package. I tested it, and I found out, I can save about 40MB of space, if I'd move all Perl utilites to a standalone subpackage. It would make sense to move them, so the users don't need to install Perl with the server package. Especially in technologies like containers (or cloud images) size matters. It all depends on how often are those utilities [2] used together with the server, sice we don't want to displace importatnt scripts. In case, it would look like a good idea, there is also option to move to this subpackage other - infrequently used - utilities. -> Q: Hey, Users and Admins, which utilities do you think are essential for the server? Note: It can be solved by soft dependencies, so those utils would be installed with the server by default. hi everyone I'm having a peculiar situation, a problem here with my config, which config is pretty galera-vanilla. Namely, if I set these: plugin-load-add = file_key_management.so file-key-management file-key-management-filename = /var/lib/mysql/.keys.txt innodb_file_per_table = 1 innodb-encrypt-log innodb-encryption-threads = 4 <= # this ! one here I get constant load on four cores, it would fluctuate just under %400 CPU (24*7). I'd assume that innodb-encryption-threads value causes it, and whatever the value might be it will be reflected in CPU usage. I wonder if you too see it. I my case I think it does something more to one system, it crashes the bloody thing to the extent where cold reboot is needed.
