Does MariaDB have any plans to support explain for insert/update/delete/replace/CTAS? There have been feature requests open for a very long time on official MySQL without any progress. I have had a few problems in production from 'bad' delete statements that had a very different plan than the select statement with the same where clause. Hi All, I have a query which shows type REF when explained in MySQL 5.5/5.6. However, the same query shows type INDEX in MariaDB 10.0.9 I.e. the query is a lot slower in MariaDB. Any one has the similar experience please? Please drop me a line. -- James Qian Wang

Hi folks, I'm reasonably experienced with MySQL and MMM for cluster management but now I am working on a project to replace this with a MariaDB Galera cluster. Then I decided to add a load of config options from my old MySQL install to the MariaDB install, and now it fails to start up, but doesn't give an obvious error message. Hello, A new question has been asked in "MariaDB Documentation" by eddow: -------------------------------- Greetings, I am attempting to set up Multi Master Replication. So far, I have been able to set up multiple masters and data is replicated to one slave. This works great. What I am having a problem with is if I add a new master. When I add the master the data in the slave table is truncated and only the data from the new master is replicated. I loose all my old data in the slave.
