Thanks Kristian!
The files have been uploaded to the primary mirror and are in the
process of being replicated to the various MariaDB mirrors.
Please take a look at the Release Notes and Changelog pages and let me
know if anything is missing or needs to be changed.

FYI: The "Download" link on the above two pages is not active yet. Once
all the mirrors have the files I will activate it.
Thanks.

Yes, we can add a link to the downloads page. We already have the
ability to add a blurb or comment to individual files in the downloads
system, but I want to reserve this ability for times when there's
something out of the ordinary about a file that we need to make sure to
point out. If we always have comments on each file in the download
system, people might miss it when we have something important to say
about a particular file. So instead of doing that, I'd like to add a new
"Installation Instructions" or a similarly named column to the download
list. I'll work with Bryan to get it added.
We have instructions in the KB for most of the various file types. Here
are the links to existing installation instructions:
http://kb.askmonty.org/v/installing-mariadb-binary-tarballshttp://kb.askmonty.org/v/installing-mariadb-deb-fileshttp://kb.askmonty.org/v/installing-mariadb-msi-packages-on-windowshttp://kb.askmonty.org/v/compiling-mariadb-from-source
Missing on the above list are instructions for installing RPMs and the
Windows .zip packages. Any volunteers to write up some installation
instructions for these?
Thanks.

I've created two new KB articles based on your text in the above
worklog:
http://kb.askmonty.org/v/binlog-event-checksumshttp://kb.askmonty.org/v/binlog-event-checksum-interoperability
I placed the articles under http://kb.askmonty.org/v/replication but
I'm open to other suggestions if anyone feels like there is a better
place.
Apart from placement, please check to make sure my formatting and minor
wording changes haven't introduced any errors, especially the table on
the interoperability page, I think I formatted it correctly, but I'm
not 100% sure.
Also, as part of the documentation for this, additions were made to the
following articles (to document the new options):
http://kb.askmonty.org/v/server-system-variableshttp://kb.askmonty.org/v/mysqlbinlog-options
Thanks.
