All, Currently we are using below: .Net framework 4 Entity Framework ODP .Net to Oracle DB New environment: .Net framework 4 Entity Framework MariaDB 10.1.16 We would like to know on how can we connect MariaDB for the above said framework .Net + Entity Framework. We are trying to find some sources online but couldn't figure it out. Can anyone share me on how can we establish connection between .Net Entity Framework to MariaDb and what connector we need to use and any sample code on how we connect. Do I need to use "--wsrep-node-name" option with dns names to identify the node in Galera cluster instead of "wsrep-node-address", or is the "--wsrep-node-address=<dns-name>" supposed to work? Thanks,

[Maria-discuss] MariaDB and TLB misses / Large Pages

Hello all, is there a reliable cookbook / checklist to implement Large Tables on a SuSE SLES 12 SP1 Linux distribution? I find there there is a lot of old/inaccurate/dodgy information on my search machine travels. The test setup is as follows- Everything enabled for Large Pages as per various online Fora. 128GB RAM 72GB InnoDB buffer size, eight instances. MariaDB is DB is defined in a 52GB RAM disk. (This is a test to tie down TLB and Lx cache misses and high CPU next activity) Any pointers/hints most welcome. Did anyone facing this 500 error while accessing the Maria DB Knowledge Base. Thank you. Don't know to whom we need to report this, so sending to this mail ID. Sorry if it cause any inconvenient for others. When we click the Support in MariaDb website, getting below error: Database Error: *There seems to be a problem connecting to the database server specified in your configuration file. Please contact your local system administrator for further assistance. *

I am trying to use dns hostnames vs. ip addresses in mariadb container configuration: --wsrep-cluster-address=gcomm://node1.cluster1.mesos,node2.cluster1.mesos.. --wsrep_node_address=node1.cluster1.mesos --wsrep-new-cluster .. but i see galera error: WSREP: Failed to resolve tcp://node1.cluster1.mesos The address "node1.cluster1.mesos" i can ping 64 bytes from node-x (10.10.30.1): icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.023 ms Would it be possible to configure Galera to use dns names? You made a question and also provided the answer.
