Binaries have been uploaded for both x86 and amd64 platforms. due to github file size limitations , the directories have been uploaded unarchived. for Win33 binaries , please checkout https://github.com/YannNayn/galera-mariadb-win32.git and for Win64(amd64) binaries (being uploaded/pushed): https://github.com/YannNayn/galera-mariadb-win64.git they are not recommended for a production environment. in the my.cnf file: _________ wsrep_provider=galera_smm.dll wsrep_sst_method=msqldump # percona xtrabackup will be tested soon _________ libevent and openssl(the provided binaries use respectively 2.1.3-alpha and 1.1.0-dev versions ) will be added next on github some limitations are stated on openssl website copied here for convenience: ____________ from http://www.openssl.org/ ____________ This software package uses strong cryptography, so even if it is created, maintained and distributed from liberal countries in Europe (where it is legal to do this), it falls under certain export/import and/or use restrictions in some other parts of the world. Aug 6 12:24:24 testserver mysqld: 150806 12:24:24 [Note] /usr/libexec/mysqld (mysqld 10.0.20-MariaDB) starting as process 115096 ... why is this now stdout instead mysql logs? on systemd based distributions that spits now to the global syslog and finally on machines restarting 2 instances every hour for backup reasons it annoys until 10.0.19 or 10.0.20 that was not this way

Hi! Visiting: https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb/branding-guidelines/ You’ll note that the Powered by MariaDB badges still exist (https://mariadb.org/about/logos/) — they should really say Powered by MariaDB Server But what is missing are all the seal logos? Currently beyond the archives at Wikimedia Commons (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Mariadb-seal-browntext.svg) they seem to have disappeared Is this just an oversight and something that needs fixing? Hi, I have a database(MariaDB 10.1.18) with latin1 characterset and a table with utf8 characterset.I can query the data only if i set names to latin1. How to convert the data to utf8 ? I have tried export/import,iconv. [Maria-discuss] Upgrading From MySQL 5.6 to MariaDB 10.1

Hi there, I'm not seeing any concise information in the MariaDB docs about the recommended upgrade plan from MySQL 5.6 to MariaDB 10.1. Should I install MariaDB 10.0 and then 10.1? Or can I run right to 10.1? I'm running an older version of Ubuntu (12.04 Precise). Looking at the repo, it looks like I can stick with Precise, and hand that upgrade later. Or are there recommended min version of Ubuntu I should hit first? Thanks! Mike

Hi Experts, I got this error, not sure whether maria db supports time zone: MariaDB [devdb]> create table ts (dt datetime, tz timestamp with time zone); ERROR 1064 (42000): You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near 'time zone)' at line 1 My application team is looking for time zone support. /etc/my.cnf (for many years now) max_allowed_packet = 200M how can it be that when the whole table file is 54MB large with a setting of 200MB that something is larger then 200MB while obviously it was not too large at insert time at 2016-10-06 but with MariaDB 10.0.x instead 10.1.x?
