Binaries have been uploaded for both x86 and amd64 platforms. due to github file size limitations , the directories have been uploaded unarchived. for Win33 binaries , please checkout https://github.com/YannNayn/galera-mariadb-win32.git and for Win64(amd64) binaries (being uploaded/pushed): https://github.com/YannNayn/galera-mariadb-win64.git they are not recommended for a production environment. in the my.cnf file: _________ wsrep_provider=galera_smm.dll wsrep_sst_method=msqldump # percona xtrabackup will be tested soon _________ libevent and openssl(the provided binaries use respectively 2.1.3-alpha and 1.1.0-dev versions ) will be added next on github some limitations are stated on openssl website copied here for convenience: ____________ from http://www.openssl.org/ ____________ This software package uses strong cryptography, so even if it is created, maintained and distributed from liberal countries in Europe (where it is legal to do this), it falls under certain export/import and/or use restrictions in some other parts of the world. Aug 6 12:24:24 testserver mysqld: 150806 12:24:24 [Note] /usr/libexec/mysqld (mysqld 10.0.20-MariaDB) starting as process 115096 ... why is this now stdout instead mysql logs? on systemd based distributions that spits now to the global syslog and finally on machines restarting 2 instances every hour for backup reasons it annoys until 10.0.19 or 10.0.20 that was not this way

Hi! Visiting: https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb/branding-guidelines/ You’ll note that the Powered by MariaDB badges still exist (https://mariadb.org/about/logos/) — they should really say Powered by MariaDB Server But what is missing are all the seal logos? Currently beyond the archives at Wikimedia Commons (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Mariadb-seal-browntext.svg) they seem to have disappeared Is this just an oversight and something that needs fixing? Hi, At our enterprise we have a DBA-User proxied with "GRANT PROXY ON 'dba'@'%' TO ''@'%'" and backed by pam module (roughly according to [1]) to login from our ldap-accounts. When logging in via pam into the DBA-Role I'm unable to grant the proxy privileges to other users. Following [2] (MySQL docs, because the MariaDB docs are lacking any further information about this) I already tried to "GRANT PROXY ON 'dba'@'%' TO ''@'%' WITH GRANT OPTION" and "GRANT PROXY ON ''@'' TO 'dba'@'%' WITH GRANT OPTION" (as [2] is ambiguous about if the "proxied_user" or the "proxy_user" should have the "WITH GRANT OPTION"), but neither the first grant nor the second one showed any effect. When I grant the proxy privilege with grant option to a local user, this user is able to grant the proxy privileges to other users. So my question is, if it's not possible to grant proxy privileges while one's logged in with a proxy user? MySQL docs page http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/mysql-options.html *MYSQL_OPT_CONNECT_TIMEOUT (argument type: unsigned int *)* *The connect timeout in seconds.* However I don't find it documented anywhere what the default (client-initiated) connect_timeout will become if not specified in mysql_options(). Or will the client never initiate a timeout in connection phase in such case? We are usng MariaDB C-conn 2.31 so the question here on this list is specifically for MariaDB connector. I didn't find it documented here either. But both MySql and MariaDB have probably inherited this from the old LGPL 3.x connector so this are probably the same in both. Hi All! I am having a Problem with getting mariadb works flawless using a Master/Slave[1] <=> Master/Slave[2] <=> Master/Slave[3] The First Time i was able to insert a row on the Master[1] Server and the data was reproduced/replicated to all servers. At this Time i thinked everything is fine now. But then when i tryed to deleted the new Created Row on Master[1] the Data was only deleted on the Master[1] Server while the others Servers [2] and [3] still had the data! I expected that the deleted row should be also deleted on all master/slave servers but it did not! How can i solve this Problem? And what is actually the Problem with MySQL/MariaDB? I am getting the impression that MariaDB is really bad when it comes to Replication/Sync of Data in a Distributed Architecture. As a Example let say on server has to reboot because of a Cloud maintenance. From what i see this MaraiDB server will be forever corrupted after the restart and never sync again as first it has to manually be adjusted to the master bin log position and second it has also be told to work as a slave after this. Not really what i would expect from a autonomous replicating Master Slave Data Base Server after a restart! Hope somebody can tell me how to resolve all this Sync Problems so finally MariaDB Master/Slave Database Server work flawless without to worry that sooner or later a node or a few of them will get useless and corrupted! I'm getting an error restoring a mysqldump. At first, I was restoring the full dump (with data), but fortunately, I'm able to elicit the same error, on the same line.
