just for reference there was Jira item about already created (2022) https://jira.mariadb.org/browse/MDBF-391

This bug report states "There is no https://github.com/topics/mariadb". That is not true, nowadays there is a MariaDB topic on GitHub - ironically just MariaDB itself is not included in that topic. You can fix it with 1 min of GitHub settings update.
