All, I've started a project to consolidate and clarify information on contributing to MariaDB. My first step was to take this page: http://kb.askmonty.org/v/how-can-i-contribute-to-mariadb and move all of its redundant information to this page: http://kb.askmonty.org/v/contributing-to-the-mariadb-project The How Can I Contribute... page still holds a function as part of the MariaDB FAQ so I think it should stay where it is and just serve as a pointer. My plan is for the "Contributing to the MariaDB Project" page to become the primary starting place for information on contributing. To that end, I've given it a shorter slug: http://kb.askmonty.org/v/contributing (the longer slug still works). Currently most of the information on the contributing page is specific to developers, but I intend to expand the non-developer-specific parts over the coming days. As the non-developer parts are expanded there will come a point where the page will need to be split into sub-pages, but the contributing slug will always point at the landing page for contributing. All articles about contributing will also link back to this main contributing page. Let me know if you have questions or want to help (there are several contributing topics which could use an article of their own, I'll post a list later).
