Hello, A new question has been asked in "Development" by timosaarinen. Please answer it at http://mariadb.com/kb/en/tokudb/ as the person asking the question may not be subscribed to the mailing list. -------------------------------- We noticed, that MariaDB includes TokuDB engine too nowadays. We have read, that it should be more high-performance than the default one. We are curious to know, what's the reason, it's not the default engine in MariaDB. Is it ready for production use?
Absolutely. TokuDB has been shipping in MariaDB 5.5 and MariaDB 10.0 for quite some time now. It's also available directly from Tokutek in MySQL 5.5 and MariaDB 5.5, as well as from Percona in Percona Server 5.6.
We are curious to know, what's the reason, it's not the default engine in MariaDB.
