I only see details on the website on how to upgrade from 11.6 to 10.11. https://mariadb.com/kb/en/upgrading-from-mariadb-10-6-to-mariadb-10-11/ Does this mean in order to get to 11.4 safely I first have to upgrade to 10.11 and then to 11.4? Has anyone managed to upgrade directly from 10.6 to 11.4 without issues?

At least the CI at https://salsa.debian.org/mariadb-team/mariadb-server/-/pipelines/696205 successfully upgrades from MariaDB 10.6 directly to 11.4. Debian has pretty good backwards compatibility and you can skip versions when upgrading.

Thanks Otto , by all accounts then looks like I should be good - will of course test this in our TEST environment first.

The general migration document is https://mariadb.com/kb/en/upgrading-between-major-mariadb-versions/ On Thu, 4 Jul 2024 at 16:25, Stephan via discuss <discuss@lists.mariadb.org> wrote:
