The bintar should indeed have Cassandra, and will have it again, at the moment there is a known configuration issue in the build system which is waiting to be solved, sorry about it. Some (but not all) OS-specific packages have Cassandra, so does the source tarball. Please note that in for RPM-based systems it comes as a separate package. Regards, Elena
