[Maria-discuss] New Question: MariaDB Backup using Percona XtraBackup

Hello, A new question has been asked in "MariaDB FAQ" by palash.harchandani93_43595. Please answer it at http://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb-faq-mariadb-backup-using-percona-xtrabackup... as the person asking the question may not be subscribed to the mailing list. -------------------------------- Percona suggests to use the xtrabackup script for taking backup but it does not have anything to take compressed backup.The compact backup reduces the size of 48gb database to 47gb which is of no use.
