[Maria-discuss] Installation issues with PHP5

A few comments were posted yesterday to the following Knowledgebase article: https://kb.askmonty.org/en/installation-issues-with-php5 The poster is getting mysql_connect errors. He's using CentOS 5 64bit, PHP 5.2, and recently upgraded from MySQL 5.0.77 to MariaDB 5.3. If you have any experience in this area, please consider jumping in and replying to the comments.
