Hello, A new question has been asked in "MariaDB Community" by greg_brownell_g. Please answer it at http://mariadb.com/kb/en/2-node-replication-failoverrecovery/ as the person asking the question may not be subscribed to the mailing list. -------------------------------- Is there a way to automate the following: 1. 2 node system set up as master-master replication 2. node 1, master 1 fails. 3. node 2 master 2 is now the active instance. Up to here, all works well. Replication is fast enough. We detect failure and code now uses master 2 on node 2. The problem is sync'ing master 1 when the node 1 restarts, perhaps 5 minutes later. Requirement is: 1. node 2 master 2 continues to run without interruption 2. node 1 master 1 must sync as quickly as possible with node 2 master 2 3. this must be done without human intervention (using scripts, programs, whatever) Thanks. -------------------------------- To view or answer this question please visit: http://mariadb.com/kb/en/2-node-replication-failoverrecovery/
