While I was doing this enhancement, I did try to increase the page size for compressed pages also but this proved too hard for time constraints I had. I did try to discuss about the problems with only person I know who really knows how compressed pages storage format is implemented (Marko Mäkelä) but unfortunately, I did not get it to work with limited help I received.
