Thrilled to introduce Haibo (@haibo942us), who will be developing VIDEX for MariaDB as part of OSPP-2025!

He will focus on achieving our initial milestones by September 30. Of course, we are committed to continuing our contributions to the long-term integration well beyond the project timeline.

To kick things off, could you please create a ticket or thread for this project? We're ready to jump in to discuss the initial development and define the first milestone together.

Whatever platform you think is best works for us (e.g., a new thread on lists.mariadb.org, a Jira like https://jira.mariadb.org/browse/MDEV-36737, or Zulip?).
