(according to the reply I had here https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/503373-How-to-disable-Transparent-Hugepages?p=2681756#post2681756 - I have not tried yet myself). 


It already says: "To disable them, pass "transparent_hugepage=never" to the kernel in your bootloader (grub, lilo, etc.)."

You should know how to control your bootloader.
