Hello, A new question has been asked in "MariaDB Community" by RobLewis. Hi Jan, the root cause for the corruption, we know: NFSv4 bugs. The "dump/restore-to-new-db" path we know as well. [Maria-discuss] Can't create account on MariaDB bugtracker

I'm having trouble creating an account on the bugtracker. I can get it to send me the email-address-verification email, but when I use the link from the email to create my account I get a "unexpected error has occurred" message. P.S. I use atlassian-contact@ as my email address for the bugtracker.

Hi Jan, thanks for your notes. I have gone through the instructions in that doc link, but they do not help. In the prior emails I have included stack dumps and straces of what happens when I follow those instructions. There is something else going on, or perhaps a regression that prevents the procedure you mention from working right. We are definitely NOT hitting ENOSPC, nor any FS or storage side issue. [Maria-discuss] Inclusion of Mysql security fixes in MariaDB

Hello, We recently were informed of some security fixes in Mysql 5.5.41: http://www.ubuntu.com/usn/usn-2480-1/ and are wondering whether there are plans to include these in an upcoming MariaDB release. Right now, we are running 10.0.13, so we're trying to plan the next upgrade. We see that there have been similar fixes included in MariaDB 10.0.14 and 10.0.15, so this seems likely. Based on this https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb/development/security/ list of CVE's, it looks like the MariaDB 10.0.15 and MariaDB 5.5.40 include the same security fixes (presumably pulled from Mysql 5.5.40). Can we expect that the fixes from Mysql 5.5.41 will be included in an upcoming MariaDB 10.0.16 release? Would appreciate any insight into the general schedule for addressing these vulnerabilities. However, if I replace in source table fields 'Beer' with '啤酒‘ and 'Car' with 'машина‘, I get the following CREATE TABLE statement: CREATE TABLE `pivex_cn` ( `who` varchar(135) NOT NULL, `week` int(11) NOT NULL, `å•¤é…’` decimal(6,2) NOT NULL `FLAG`=1, `Food` decimal(6,2) NOT NULL `FLAG`=1, `Ð¼Ð°ÑˆÐ¸Ð½Ð°` decimal(6,2) NOT NULL `FLAG`=1 ) ENGINE=CONNECT DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8 `TABLE_TYPE`='pivot' `TABNAME`='topivot_cn' Which then in SELECT * FROM pivex_cn; gives the following error: "Error Code: 1296. Got error 122 'Cannot find matching column' from CONNECT" All tables are using utf8 as default.
