Sorry, cannot help much. It looks ok, but I've had so many problems with our debian packaging - all these fixes looks right, and still need twenty iterations to actually be right. So, try it in buildbot, push in some tree that builds deb packages. If it'll work in all deb builders - please, push into 5.5. Regards, Sergei

Please note the on Debian MariaDB 5.5. and 10.0 already builds fine and all build tests also pass for PPC64. The packaging source is at http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-mysql/mariadb-10.0.git and http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-mysql/mariadb-5.5.git but have not so far been upstreamed simply due to lack of time. Getting 10.0 into Debian 8.0 was a higher priority at the moment, but it is now almost done so I can soon take up the task of splitting my packaging work up into patches and sending them to you upstream. -- Check out our blog at http://seravo.fi/blog and follow @ottokekalainen

What's the issue with oqgraph building? Is it something boost related? I think I recall some issues with some Boost versions (perhaps only on pp64le) but I could be remembering incorrectly :) -- Stewart Smith

yes, it's in the comments to MDEV-6885: ====Sergey Vojtovich added a comment - 13 hours ago ======= Sergei, we already solved 10.0 debs build failure on PPC64. The problem was that libjudydebian1 package has broken symlink to libJudy.so. 5.5 debs fail to build because oqgraph doesn't like Boost. =========================================================== we usually solve this Boost problem by installing Boost of the supported version somewhere in /usr/local in our build VM.
