Here is a message from Arjen regarding worklog. I haven't messed with it and I believe you are currently maintaining it.
Thoughts?
I agree that Worklog mail sending is annoying/broken as it is now. Unfortunately I don't know how to fix it, and I don't have the time currently to investigate. One thing we could do is disable the worklog-db@askmonty.org alias (eg. send it to /dev/null). This should disable sending the mails to the mailing list at least. - Kristian.

Hi Bryan
I think worklog is doing fail on mailouts. it sends to maria- developers list as well as a direct addressee. as a result is sends out multiples to maria-developers. it seems... archivist confirms this, for one item he also got 6 identical emails.
Cheers, Arjen.

I am in favor of doing this to improve the signal/noise ratio of the list, but I don't want to implement it without at least taking a straw poll, so: Does anyone object to disabling worklog emails as per Kristian's suggestion above? I think it makes sense to send email only when one opens/registers a new WL task. Regards, Igor.
Thanks.

Of course, it would be better if someone could fix worklog to only send out 'new' worklog entries to the email list; Then people would at least know what new is happening but not see the noise that comes from each change to the worklog.
