I just wanted to let you know that MariaDB 11.8.1 just landed in Debian testing, which will be the upcoming Debian 13 "Trixie" release.

I will continue with various quality assurance tasks so that eventually when 11.8.2 comes out it will be as polished as possible from Debian/Ubuntu perspective. Hopefully .2 does not have any big changes, but just bug fixes.
