Hi Roberto The page you linked is from the SQL-99 book, and is not specific to MariaDB. You were looking for: https://kb.askmonty.org/en/alter-table/ which does (very) briefly mention ALTER ONLINE TABLE There's been quite a bit of confusion about the SQL-99 book.
