Ubuntu's new version is '5.5.29-0ubuntu012.10.1' dated - 2013-01-22 15:07:08 UTC. Now, I have been 'battling for hours' to work around this Ubuntu pain, while we wait on the good MariaDB team to re-syncs it's own updates with the Ubuntu 12.04 updates.
