[MariaDB developers] Re: Suggestion: use 'main' as the development branch instead of an ever changing 11.x

Thanks Andrew for setting up a vote. Seems like a good way to engage the developer community. May I suggest the wording to be updated to this? * Versioned branch, e.g. ’11.6’, changes every 3 months (current method) * Static brach 'main', does not change (proposed method) By default git has 'main' since a couple years back, so I would propose only it (not 'trunk').
