[Maria-developers] Unable to reset my mariadb root password.

Hello, I have just installed mariadb in my macos system. After installation it asks for the root password which I have not set yet. Tried to reset the root password but that did not work. So, how to know my mariadb root password? Is it possible to reset the password? Thank you. Regards
