The MariaDB project has released version 5.2.6 of MariaDB, the latest
release in the 5.2 series. Source, binaries, Linux packages and
Windows installers are available at:

MariaDB 5.2.6 brings many new features, among them:
- Windows x86-64 packages
- New MSI installer for Windows
- Windows Upgrade Wizard for conversion of existing MySQL
installations to MariaDB
- Debian packages updated for Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal)

As the 5.2 series is released as stable, updates to it are expected to
